• a video produced by the SHC on microaggression
• several resources for understanding how best to be an ally
• ways to give time and/or money to the cause

These professional training sessions will be scheduled and announced via campus email. If you are interested in attending, please contact us at MCSHC@vcccd.edu to get on a waiting list, or learn about scheduled events.
SAFEZONE, 4 hours
LGBTQ* ally training for an employee audience. Offers effective strategies for the classroom, service areas, and on- and off-campus communities.
Mental Health First Aid(MHFA), 8 hours
Offered in a full or 2 split sessions, this training prepares participants to recognize mental health challenges and take appropriate actions.

- The Student Health Center provides tb screening for all employees
- Flu shot are offered annually for $20.00 and are first come first served.
- Cholesterol testing is done twice each semester and is open to all employees at a cost of $12.00
- Student Health is available for campus emergencies for students and staff
- We are unable to see employees for non-emergent medical reasons
