We are all concerned with achieving and maintaining good health.

This is really understandable as the dental profession out of U.S. Dental Schools are only taught dentistry as if the rest of your body didn’t exist.
In Europe, you cannot study dentistry until you have completed medical school. There, dentistry is a specialty like cardiology or pediatrics would be a specialty in the U.S. and European dentists fully understand the relationship between what goes on in your mouth and the rest of your body.
Why is this so important? Because there has been sufficient scientific proof, which the America Dental Association has elected to ignore for the past 80 years, that infected teeth and gums can cause major diseases and --- a high percentage of these chronic degenerative diseases can, and do, originate from root filled teeth (root canal).
The most frequent of these diseases are heart and circulatory diseases and Dr. Weston Price found 16 different causative agents for these happenings. (Dr. Price led a 60 man research team who discovered the relationship between bacterial infection and inflammation in the mouth to these diseases.)
The next most common disease found in this study is those of the joints, arthritis and rheumatism. In third place - but almost tied for second - were diseases of the brain and nervous system. After that, any disease you can name might come from root filled teeth.
The American Dental Association does not acknowledge this. BUT --- dentists know that patients with joint replacements and certain heart conditions must take antibiotics before and after any dental procedures.
Why? Because the bacteria which live in the mouth enter the blood stream as a consequence of the dental procedures and travel to the heart and joints, possibly causing severe and often fatal diseases. That’s pretty heavy!
Now, think about what you've just read...how can any dentist or physician claim that the focal theory of infection has no scientific validity when dentists are required to pre-medicate their patients to avoid producing a distant or focal infection?
For many infections we are lucky to have antibiotics, and understand that anti-biotics are delivered to the infected area by your blood stream. When you do a root canal, the pulp in the root with all its tubeuals, are removed and there is no longer any blood flow to the root. All too often bacteria remain around the root causing an infection which anti-biotics cannot get to. These bacteria enter your blood stream and wind up in your heart, joints, or organs in your body, causing deadly diseases.
In addition to filled roots causing disease problems, so do fillings containing mercury and so does fluoride found in our water supply and some brands of toothpaste.
